BIOG - Was bought a drum for xmas when aged 8 ( strange choice for parents to buy a child ! ) Self taught. Did the usual ‘band plays every khazi possible in an attempt to be famous’ thing. Had some Radio 1 airplay with Walk The Wire, played in a band called 10 at the Greenbelt festival - 3rd on the bill to Sir Cliff - 23,000 punters. Spent 15 years in a band doing the holiday camp circuit, then was headhunted for Arizona. Will stay until my ‘Spinal Tap’ moment arrives.

So, what the hell are V-drums? you may ask (or you may not) Well, many people wonder how these strange looking drum 'pads' connected together with about 5 miles of cables, can make such I wonderful racket... Ok, well the technology is a million miles away from the old 80s-style hexagonal electronic pad / dooof dooof dooof sounds on the East Enders theme (yes, still to this day!)

Basically the pads are connected to a 'brain' which generates computer-modeled REAL drums sounds in real time. NO SAMPLES! The boys wanted me to get a trad kit but I sold them the idea by saying "why buy 1 kit when you can have 100, on the same stage?!" - needless to say, they were sold, and so am I. The most amazing purchase I've ever made. We managed to record our first 'album' in Hobbsy's studio and they sound the biz - buy a CD and find out for yourself!
