Dave Foss - Lead Vocals

STARS: TAURUS

FOOD & DRINK: Anything spicy for preference but everything really except celery, olives and pumpkin pie - it's the food of the devil! Fosters Ice, port and another port or two, lager lager lager, and the odd pims thank you.

TV & FILM: Speak to the Mrs - she control ze knobs! Match of The Day and Parkinson hit the spot.  Dislike any programmes creating boy/girl bands - still watch though but Heresay's decline was better than I could ever dream of! Game shows are naff but I love the punters losing it all in the final bit of the show!

OTHER INTERESTS: Played cricket from the age of 15-39 when I decided it was time to let the younger guys have a go (nothing to do with slipping from the 1st to the 3rd team in one season), honest! Still love watching cricket when time allows and indeed have been MC at the last 6 Upminster vs Essex CCC Benefit games at Upminster Park (you would have though they would be sick of my dulcet tones by now!) Packed up playing football at 37 when the knees gave up on me but still follow my beloved West Ham although refuse to line the players pockets with my hard earned cash by buying a season ticket, more the armchair fan myself! Love my holidays, and stag dos, although have missed a fair few stags with the band being so busy but hope to claw a couple back next year with a Cricket Tour to ESTONIA! –CRICKET ON ICE would you believe! and maybe an Arizona boys weekend in the pipe-line.

Starting playing a bit of golf again after a 12 year hiatus and boy does it show!!

Still main hobby is listening to music and buying CDs and am delighted that via Neal Morse/Spocks Beard/Marillion/Porcupine Tree/Transatlantic/Frost, to name a few main influences, my love of prog was re-ignited about 5 years ago after a few years sifting through a fair bit of mediocrity.

INFLUENCES: Genesis, Yes, It Bites, The Tubes, Todd Rungren, Toto, IQ, Spocks Beard, ELO, 10cc but just love me music man!

BIOG: Classic origins - learnt to sing in the back of ma & pa's car with the tape player on my lap to the music of the Wombles, Neil Sedaka, The Carpenters, and the Joseph soundtrack.  Listened to the top 20 every Sunday until someone gave me a cassette with Going For The One by Yes on one side and And Then There Were Three by Gensisi on the other.  It blew me away!  DId Yeoman of The Guard complete with false beard at 17 then when bruv got tapped to play keyboards in Exhibit A went along to listen for a few weeks.  As no singer was present got given 4 lines of lyrics that the band had and just had a go! One cassette album and one CD album in 10 years - prolific!

After the Exhibit A rehearsals/gigs/writing began to dry up (although plans to record new album in Jan perhaps) bumped into Nigel at an Australian Pink Floyd gig and I think we chatted about maybe starting up a covers band…..who'd have thought it would run for 10 years!
